enaDyne, a growing startup from Saxony, is dedicated to utilizing CO₂ as a valuable resource for the synthesis of chemical building blocks. With our advanced plasma-catalysis reactors, we are setting new standards in CO2 recycling, efficiently converting the gas into sustainable resources and e-fuels. These groundbreaking technologies are being developed at our modern BioCity Campus in Leipzig. To support our processes, we are looking for a dedicated Head of Technical Operations who will lead our team in transitioning our innovative technologies from development and testing to market-ready pilot launches and beyond.

The Opportunity - Shape Your Influential Role

  • Leadership and Team Management: Lead and manage the R&D team, ensuring alignment with project goals and timelines. Provide technical guidance and foster a collaborative, innovative work environment.
  • Product and Technology Readiness: Oversee the preparation and adaptation of our products and technologies to meet market and client requirements. Ensure that all technological developments are aligned with customer needs and industry standards.
  • Pilot Launch Execution: Take charge of transitioning from the R&D phase to pilot implementation. This includes planning, coordinating, and overseeing the pilot launch of our plasma-catalysis reactors.
  • Process Optimization: Develop and implement processes that streamline the transition from concept and testing to full-scale operations. Identify and address any technical challenges that may arise during this transition.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product development, and business development, to ensure seamless integration and execution of projects. Maintain clear communication with all stakeholders to ensure alignment on project objectives and timelines.
  • Quality and Compliance: Ensure that all products and processes meet the necessary quality standards and regulatory requirements. Implement best practices in quality control and risk management.

Your Profile - Embrace Challenges and Grow

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Technology Management, or a related field.
  • Extensive experience in a technical operations or R&D management role, preferably within a technological startup or innovative environment.
  • Proven track record of successfully leading teams through the transition from R&D to market launch.
  • Strong understanding of product development cycles and the ability to translate technical developments into market-ready solutions.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage resources, and meet deadlines.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on approach to addressing technical challenges.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
