to start in Berlin at the next possible date.

Key areas of your work will be:

We are looking to strengthen our EU emissions trading/carbon pricing team with an economic focus. The focal point of your work will be projects on the quantitative and qualitative evaluation and the further development of emissions trading. One key area of your research will be the impact of emissions trading on emission reductions, particularly in industry, on competitiveness and on political measures to protect against carbon leakage, e.g. CBAM. Knowledge of industrial processes, investment calculations and mitigation measures including technical sinks is an advantage. You will work in a variety of project teams, write reports and prepare presentations, develop policy recommendations, present research results and lead and acquire projects.

The salary is based on the company pay scale and includes an end-of-year bonus, attractive social benefits and offers of family-friendly support. We are offering a full-time position; part-time models of at least 75% are possible. The position is based in Berlin. However, working remotely with regular meetings in the office is possible. Your employment contract will initially be limited to two years, with a view to becoming permanent.
